Shades Of Grey

Along side the 'InZaneCountry' project, I have another music project, as a member of the band 'Shades of Grey'. 'Shades of Grey' is a 'covers' band, playing Bristol UK and surrounding areas, put together by Mel Wood, a well known personality in Bristol, who has been around the Bristol music scene since the early sixties. Mel has played alongside the best of the best. Together as a band for a year or so, each member of 'Shades' is very experienced and accomplished in their own musical field; 'Shades of Grey' have over 130 years of 'live playing' experience between the five members of the band. I am very proud to be part of 'Shades of Grey'.

At the outset, the band decided to play selected local venues, to play in a variety of musical styles, hoping to appeal to discerning and appreciative audiences. So, Country, Pop, Rock 'n' Roll, Rock, Blues, all of these styles play a part in our repertoire, with a little 'Sing Along' and 'Old Time Music' too. 'Shades of Grey' endeavour, always, to give a performance worthy of any professional band, to make our show a fun and enjoyable experience for band and audience alike. Maybe we can look forward to playing for you!
